Thorne Princess by L.J. Shen is an enemies to lovers bodyguard romance. Hallie Thorne is a Hollywood starlet, growing up in the public eye since her father was President of the United States when she was born. Hallie has never felt like she fit in with her family, so she's lived her life away from them but finds herself in trouble and always in the tabloids, embarrassing her family. The solution her parents come up with after the latest scandal, is to hire Hallie a bodyguard to help keep her out of the tabloids and to help her find some purpose in her life. Rumor would have rather chewed off his arm than have to protect a spoiled Hollywood princess, but he needs this connection to help his business. Hallie is anything but pleased when Rumor shows up on her door step, but as much as they both would rather not be stuck with each other, they might be exactly what each other needs. Rumor, aka "The Robot" is super protective of Hallie, and I am always a fan of a protective hero, especially when he's an unfeeling grumpy robot. L.J. Shen is one of my favorite authors, every book she writes sucks me and keeps in entertained. This book did not disappoint, I loved it and couldn't put it down. It's not super spicy but it's so good! 5 Stars!

“Do you want to kiss me somewhere else?” Her voice sounded timid—almost childish—in my ears again. And if I wasn’t too far gone, this might cause me to pull away and get my shit together.
I looked up at her, nodding. “I want to kiss you everywhere.”
“Please do.”
