The Sacrifice by Shantel Tessier is an enemies to lovers romance. This is the second book in this series that I have read. Shantel Tessier has a way of sucking you into her books. Her books are dark so make sure you check the trigger warnings before you start reading her books. Laiken has always known she didn't have many choices when it came to her future and who she would marry but she was pretty shocked on her wedding day when she didn't marry who she was promised to marry. Instead she was forced to marry her sister's ex-boyfriend, Tyson. This book has lots of kink, which isn't a big thing for me but if you like it, there's lots of it in this book. This book for sure kept my attention with all the twists and suspense. 4 Stars!
