The Game Plan by Micalea Smeltzer is a fake dating hockey romance. Bennet is a professional hockey player who recently had an injury and a public image problem. He's known for being a bad boy and a bit of a playboy. So Bennet decides to go back to the college he played at before he turned pro and have his old coach help him get back to playing the game he loves. Grace is a college freshman and new to the area, wanting to move away from her protective and over-bearing brothers and father. Bennet and Grace have a random meeting and see each other a few times on campus, Grace having no clue who Bennet is at first. They slowly start to become friends, each of them fighting an attraction to the other. When some photos get out of them that look like Bennet is back to his playboy ways, he convinces Grace to be his girlfriend to help his image. I really enjoyed this story. It was a little slow to start for me and there are a few typos but it's a good read and I enjoyed it. I would rate this book with 4 stars!

She laughs, and her eyes sparkle with amusement.
God, I love this girl.
My thoughts stop me cold.
Love? I love this girl?
Fuck, I think I do. No, I know I do.
I’ve never loved another girl before—have nothing to compare this feeling to—but I know that’s what it is.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with Grace.
I fell in love with her smile. Her laugh. The way she mocks me every chance she gets.
I fell in love with her love of chocolate and coffee. I fell in love with every little thing that makes her her.
