So ... it took me awhile to read this book. I read the blurb and just wasn't sure it was something that I wanted to read but then I saw all the people on TikTok rave about The Fine Print and I decided to give it a try. I really wanted The Fine Print to live up to all the hype that TikTok gives it but for some reason it just didn't happen for me. I enjoyed the book but there was just something missing for me. Maybe my expectations were too high after all the hype people gave this book, I'm not sure but I just didn't feel what everyone else feels about this book. But it was still a well written book and I did enjoy it. I would give this book 3 stars.
Favorite Excerpt:
He kisses the base of my spine. “You weren’t supposed to make me smile or laugh.” He nips at the edge of my ear before tracing my earrings with his finger. “You weren’t supposed to work your way under my skin like venom with no kind of antidote.” He slides only the tip into me. I push back, but he moves too, holding me hostage.
“And you were never supposed to make me want more.”
Heat blooms in my chest. I gasp as he thrusts his cock into me with one push. My body burns from the intrusion, and tears prick my eyes.
“But now it’s too late.” He smooths out my hair before wrapping it around his hand like a rope.
He tugs. “You’re mine.”
