Sweet Like Poison by Julia Wolf is the third book in the Savage U Series and it's about Elena and Lachlan who have been introduced in the other Savage U books. Elena is the bad girl from previous books written by J. Wolf and she has such a heartbreaking story and she fully redeemed herself after this book. I mean I really started to like her after Bright Like Midnight but reading this book and really knowing her story, you really can start to like her. This book left me teary eyed at times and my heart broke for Elena but she is a bad b***h and doesn't let a lot get to her. Lachlan is the perfect guy for her. She needs a big, strong and protective shoulder to lean on and he gives her just that. I will say that my favorite book so far in this series (there is one more book to come out) Amir and Zadie's book Bright Like Midnight is still my favorite but I think this book is a close second. I really enjoyed it. I would rate this book with 4 stars.

“I’m not going to stop, Ellie. As far as I’m concerned, you’re mine. You never stopped being mine. But I need you to decide on me too. I’m not going to stop until you do.”
I rose on my toes so I could look him square in the eye. “I. Don’t. Believe. You.”
Then I closed the door, hoping he’d do like I asked for once and go away.
