Swear On My Life by S.L. Scott is a second chance contemporary romance. Lark is a college student who grew up with a single father after her mother walked out on them when she was two. Harbor is a troubled rich college boy who is struggling with his past. Harbor has noticed Lark for months, watching her in one of his classes and seeing her at a gas station he decides to shoot his shot and hit on her. That first meeting doesn't exactly go as planned but fate and destiny are in Harbor's favor. Lark and Harbor fall fast and hard. I loved how fast Harbor fell for Lark and how he wasn't afraid of his feelings for her, and the same went for Lark as well. This book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it, although I would have liked maybe a little more angst. I would give this book 4 stars.

“Because your so-called friend wants you to believe you’re nothing but another Friday night fuck to me. You’re not.” Cupping my face, he kisses me and leans his forehead against mine. “You’re the whole fucking universe. You’re where time begins and ends and every moment in between.”
