Reckless Heir by Jenika Snow

Reckless Heir by Jenika Snow is a Mafia Romance. Amara, whose father runs the Italian Mafia is forced to marry Nikolai Petrov a killer for the Russian mafia. They meet for the first time one month before they were to marry. Nikolai is attracted to Amara from the first time he sees her. The book has a lot of pretty steamy scenes. Nikolai can be a little dirty and vulgar but Amara really likes that. There were a few typos in the book but not enough to bother me. I was wanting a little more suspense and excitement that I tend to expect with a Mafia Romance but overall it was a pretty good read. I loved how protective Nikolai was of Amara, from day one when they had just met he would do anything to protect her. I would give it 3 stars.

Favorite Excerpt:

“Not breaking his hand for touching you was really hard, kukolka.” His voice was low and deep, sinister in the way he said the words. “Yes, that’s what you are, isn’t it?” It sounded like he spoke to himself, murmuring the words low and deep and so very heady. “My little doll.” He looked at my mouth again. “Krasavitsa,” he murmured. “Beauty.”
