Marauder is the second book in the Gangsters of New Your series. I read the first book awhile ago and really enjoyed it .... Macchiavello is just everything! I loved him. Keely is in the first book in the series as Mariposa's best friend. I would suggest reading book one, Machiavellian before reading Marauder. It had been a little while so some stuff was a little fuzzy for me when reading Marauder but I think you can still read Marauder as a stand alone but .... read Machiavellian, you won't regret it. Marauder was good. It was a little slow paced and took me awhile to read but I love Cash and Keely. They are so perfect for each other. I will say that Macchiavello still came out on top though, I enjoyed him so much. I look forward to reading Mercenary next! I would give Marauder 4 stars! It's wonderfully written!

“You gave me a time.” I shrugged. “Here I am. At that time. Ready.” I took a sip of my whiskey and then set it down. “I told you, Kelly. I’m no princess. I’m used to working my ass off for basic necessities, so when I’m told a time, I make it.”
He looked down at the table, at the glass of whiskey I’d poured for him. “So you are.” He picked up the glass. It stopped when it was close to his mouth. “If I had a heart, it would’ve stopped at the sight of you in that dress.”
