This is my first time reading a Hannah Gray book and the cover picture totally had me sold! This book is a second chance, sports romance book. Cole is a freshman in college who had a rough childhood. Ally is the girl from his childhood who disappeared from his life a year earlier without saying goodbye or giving him a reason. Both Cole and Ally grew up in the foster care system and were placed in the same foster home when they were both 12. They bonded over both losing a parent due to drug over-dose. Through all the bad things that happened to each other, they were able to find love and a family in one another. Love, Ally was a sweet story of them reconnecting when they both landed at the same University for their freshman year. Cole is upset with Ally and Ally does the best she can at pushing him away. I loved reading their story and finding out the truth about why Ally left Cole and about some of the other surprises in the book. I would give the book 3 stars, it was a sweet story but I did find it was a little slow paced but it was a good read.

"What's your future wife going to say" Knox laughs "when she sees you've got a chick's name on your arm?"
"Well considering she'll be my wife, I think she will be fine with it," I state matter-of-factly.
"Ohh shiiit," he says under his breath before pretending to whip the air.
"Laugh it up, fellas. One day, you'll be doing this same fucking shit." I give them a pointed look. "Then, you'll understand."
