Incognito by Siobhan Davis

I loved the description of this book ... A dancer who is a little broken, a popstar who is looking to hide out in a small town. Not to mention I love Siobhan Davis, she writes so beautifully. Right now the book is on sale for 99c so I decided to buy it and give it a read! I was pulled into this book from the first page on. Dakota is a dancer who put her dance career on hold after her sister was murdered, so she is going to college in Iowa to be close to her family. Shawn is a popstar who has had some recent death treats and break ins and leave L.A. to get a break and lie low. He changes his appearance to the point that no one really recognizes him and he enrolls at a college in Iowa. At first they both really fight their attraction to each other but they keep running into each other and it just ends up inevitable for them to wind up together. This book had suspense, steam, and drama. I really enjoyed reading this book. I would rate it with 4 stars.

“I’m not sure there are adequate words in the English language to describe it,” he says, pressing a fierce kiss to my forehead. “I can’t lose you, Kota baby. Not now. Not ever.”

I’m startled to see tears pooling at the back of his eyes. “Hey. You won’t lose me. Why would you even think that?”

His face is awash with emotion as he looks at me. “Promise me that, no matter what, you’ll remember this. You’ll remember how good we are together. How much you mean to me.”

I’m not sure where his head has gone to now, or why, but I want to reassure him, to ease whatever his worries are.

“I won’t forget, Levi,” I say, circling my arms around his neck and kissing him. “I promise I’ll remember.”
