In Her Space by Amie Knight is the second part in The Stars duet. It doesn't exactly pick right up where Beneath His Stars left off, there is a time jump of ten years but the author does well with filling us in on what happened the last ten years, and on what happened with our characters. In Her Space is a second chance romance, since Liv and Adam haven't seen each other in ten years, basically since the last chapter of book one. But through all that time, they have never stopped loving each other. Adam did what he had to do and worked hard and trying to become the man he thought Liv deserved. Liv just kind of tried to love her life, but she felt so much guilt for what happened in the past with Adam and she was still so in love with him that it was hard for her to ever really move on. I loved seeing them finally get their happy ending and I really loved seeing some justice happen, even if it happened tragically. There were a lot more steamy scenes and more suspense. It was a quick read for me, I pretty much devoured this book in a few hours. I would give this book 4 stars.

Favorite Excerpt:
Adam had always liked talking about his tattoos of the stars. “What constellation is that?” I pointed at the rose on his neck.
“It’s not.” He took a sip of coffee, diverting his gaze. “It’s a tribute to the only girl I’ve ever loved.”
I was instantly transported back to the first night I’d told him my name. How angry I’d been at him for teasing me about the stars. “Livingston Rose Montgomery,” he’d yelled, as Harry and I walked away.
Wetness hit my eyes and my hands shook around the coffee cup. Then why hadn’t he come for me? Why had it been ten long years?
