High Risk Rookie is the fourth book in the Vancouver Wolves Hockey Romance series. The first book I ever read by Odette Stone was Puck Me Secretly and to this day that book has been in my top 10 favorite books, so High Risk Rookie had some big hockey skates to fill. It kept my attention from the first page, had everything I wanted and have started to expect with an Odette Stone novel. It had the heat, the jealousy, the angst and the love. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and am dying to know if/when Odette will be writing another book. I seriously recommend every single book that Odette Stone has written. Krista has been in other Vancouver Wolves books so it was nice to hear about her story and her story was so good. Krista is her usual business as usual sports agent and Levi is a hard to track down rookie hockey player that she wants to sign. The first night they meet ends up not quite as they had planned and things get messy. I loved how protective Levi was and how he didn't give up on Krista. I would 100% recommend giving High Risk Rookie a read. I would give this book 5 stars, I couldn't put it down.

I was almost at the door when he spoke in a voice so quiet I almost missed it. "It was worth it."
My hand hovered over the door handle as his words sank in. I swallowed a hard lump in my throat as a tsunami of emotions rushed over me. I didn't have any response to that, so I opened the door and stepped out.
