Devil Of Dublin by BB Easton

Devil Of Dublin is an Irish Folklore dark romance. This book had be sucked in from the first chapter. Darby is a young American girl visiting her grandfather in Ireland. Kellen is a young mute boy who is rumored to be the son of the devil. Even when Darby is told to stay away from Kellen, she can't do it. Year after year she meets up with Kellen and tries her best to be friends and understand him. My heart broke for both Darby and Kellen for everything they had to go through in life and when they finally find their way back to each other after years, they have to go through even more to find a way to stay with each other. BB Easton wrote this story so beautifully. The story was suspenseful and she wrote those suspenseful and dramatic scenes so wonderfully. I really enjoyed this book and would rate this book with 4 stars.

Favorite Excerpt:

“It’s okay if you’re not allowed to tell me.” Her voice was hushed, like she was talking to a caged animal. “I think I’ve figured it out anyway. Your hair. Your clothes. The way you … knew what to do back there. Claiming you don’t exist. You’re some kind of … special forces, aren’t you? Like a secret agent or a spy or something. I don’t know.”

She thinks I’m in the bleedin’ army. Jesus Christ.

“You don’t have to tell me. I just … want you to know that I’m really proud of you. And really … grateful. If you hadn’t come …” She shook her head, not allowing herself to go down that line of thought. “I have no idea what you’re risking to help me.” Her voice broke on the word help, and it splintered something in my chest along with it.

Help.

I wasn’t helping her. I was fucking kidnapping her.
