Delay Of Game by Maggie Rawdon

Delay of Game by Maggie Rawdon is a friends to lovers, college sports romance. Liam and Liv have known each other since before college but became very close after a tragedy the summer before Freshman year. Liam has always been super protective of Liv and has banned any of his football player teammates from dating her and also kept away most other guys who tried to get close to her. But he never wanted to take the next step in their relationship, he was content with just having her as his friend because he never wanted to lose her. Liv has had a crush on Liam for awhile and desperately wants out of the friend zone with him, so she asks him for some help to build up her self confidence. She hopes that if they mess around she can finally move on and get over her little crush, only it backfires and her feelings only become stronger. This book was so good. I really loved the first book in this world, Play Fake and this book did not disappoint. Maggie Rawdon is starting to become a one click author for me. 4 Stars!

“So you got me into this, and you can help me get out of it.”

“What?”

“You can be my tutor, or my coach in this case.”

I stare at her, because she can’t be serious.

“What?” I repeat.

“Unless you don’t think you have enough experience. You’re not exactly at Easton’s level.”

“I have plenty of fucking experience,” I say defensively, realizing as soon as I say it that I’m stuck in quicksand, and I need to think fast if I’m going to pull out of this.
