I have read a few books by Ava Harrison and enjoyed them so figured I would give this book a try, the description sounded pretty good. Broken Reign is a Suspense Romance book with a mafia vibe. There are a few other books in this series with interconnected characters. Tobias and Skye have a history from when they were young. Tobias knowns who Skye is the minute he sees her but Skye who has trouble remembering parts of her childhood doesn't know who Tobias is. Tobias hires Skye as his personal attorney and makes her start spending time with him every day. Skye isn't really a fan of working for Tobias because she is set on making the man who killed her parents pay and Tobias is keeping her from that. There's a little bit of enemies to lovers until they both realize they are on the same side. It took me a little bit of time to get into this book so I would say the beginning was a bit of a slow starter but it picked up and got better for me. I would give this book 3 stars mostly because it was a slow start and took me some time to get into it.
