Break the Ice by L.A. Cotton is a brother's best friend college romance. Aurora is a college freshman who at the last moment decided to transfer to the college where her brother plays hockey. Right when she is suppose to move into her new apartment, there was a flood and she's unable to move in, so her brother offers for Aurora to move in to the spare room at the house he shares with a few hockey players. Noah is one of her brother's friends and roommates and he and Aurora don't really start off on the right foot. Aurora and Noah start out as enemies but their attraction to each other doesn't keep them enemies for very long. I really loved reading Aurora and Noah's story. They both have a lot of heavy baggage with dramas from their past, which causes them to have some issues in their relationship but I loved how they were able to overcome everything. I would give this book 4 stars!

“Okay. One night. You get me for one night.”
I frowned. “One night, shortcake? I’m not sure that’s going to cut it for—”
She pressed a finger to my lips, offering me a sad smile. “One night. We both know that’s all it can be.”
One night, my ass.
But I didn’t argue. Something told me Aurora would double down and put a stop to this if I pushed. So I conceded, giving her a small nod. Letting her think she’d won the war when really, she’d only won this battle.
