Beneath His Stars by Amie Knight

Beneath His Stars by Amie Knight is a contemporary romance that I came across the other day as a suggestion on Facebook. It's a duet and ends in a cliffhanger but it's so good and I cannot wait to start reading part two, part two is called In Her Space and is out. Livingston is the rich girl who has known a lot of loss in her sixteen years. Adam is a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks who has dealt his some loss of his own. He's not quite what he seems though because when it comes to Liv, he's not bad at all. I really enjoyed this book and watching the two fall in love even though they both know they are pretty much opposites and there's a lot that will be in their way of being together. The ending of the book is a little sad and I'm not sure what is going to happen in part two but I am so sucked into this world that I'm sure I will devour the second book just as fast as I did book one. I would rate this book with 5 stars.

Favorite Excerpts:

“You know better, Livvy. I could never forget about you. Not yesterday. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.” It was too true. I’d tried for weeks to get this girl out of my head, all to no avail.

____________

“Just so we’re clear. I don’t think that I love you, Livvy. I know it. I know I love you. I knew I’d love you the first time I ever saw you beneath the stars. And I know I’ll love you fifty years from now. And hell, I don’t just love you to that moon and back, baby. I love you to Pluto and back even if it would take me nineteen years to get there and back.”
